Things to Look Forward to in 2016
As we kick off 2016, there are many things we are looking forward to both for Nashville and for our apartment community. For starters, Nashville has just been named by Business Insider as one of the top 13 hottest cities in the U.S. for 2016. With Nashville growing at a rapid pace, we have plenty in store for us this year:
The Gulch will continue to grow by welcoming these new businesses into the neighborhood.
- Otaku Ramen: Spring of 2016
- Milk and Honey: Spring of 2016
- Tzatzikis: Spring of 2016
- Apothocary Pharmacy: Spring of 2016
- Thompson Hotel: Fall of 2016
- Juice Bar in the Gulch: TBD
Google Fiber is predicted to start laying cable and launch service this year (fingers crossed). They have chosen the Gulch as the neighborhood to setup their retail presence, Fiber Space.
Job growth is becoming a focal point for the auto and healthcare industries. The area is home to more than 300 healthcare companiesand has more than 30,000 jobs in the auto industry.
Other predictions for the Fiscal Year of 2016
- All employees will receive 2.5 percent cost-of-living raises.
- There will be better up keep for Metro parks.
GulchLife at Pine Street Flats will be bigger and better this year! Our Resident Concierge is dedicated to bringing our residents more seasonal events, local Nashville happenings and a more involved Summer Series. We also hope to see more events in the Gulch like our annual Battle of the Burger and Margarita Festival.
